Parks is a big loss. I assume it includes state parks and wilderness parks. Maybe even Yosemite.

No surprise at all. The leftists know what they're doing and have effectively killed legal CCW in the state. It'll be a few more years before another judgement likely striking down the draconian restrictions, then they'll come up with a new slightly different plan and we'll be chasing our tail. This is their MO, they do this with other gun laws all the time and even if the courts completely smack them down who will enforce the court order? The LE that are the strong-arm of the left?

F*** all of that. I'll keep CCing wherever and whenever I feel a need to do so, just as I always have even before I had a permit.

Only seeing the note above, it's hard to tell what details are actually impacted. The "parking lots" is particularly vague. My doctor's office is in a mini-mall as are some eating places. Visiting the doctor and walk through the parking lot? OK for both? but I can't walk by the restaurant through the parking lot? How or can I lock it in my car? In a locked container? Unloaded in a locked container? But now it may or may not be transported from legal place to legal place? If park and State Park are identified specifically and National Park is not?
I've got my new and improve"16 hours training" in two weeks. Oh yeah. This will likely have things as muddied up as ever. |

For the panel we drew, it was actually pretty good.
Still the actual ruling itself was poorly done, because it relied on shit SCOTUS did not say and a few laws that dont exist. lol |

Typical lefty judges, just making up shit and hoping it sticks to the wall

Government is now all powerful and only needs to reflect on itself to govern. The people no longer matter.

So assuming the plaintiffs try for en banc and are denied, this case would be up cert with the Supreme Court for next term, October 25-June 26, with a decision by June 2026 if they decide to grant cert.

Quoted: That's not how it works. SCOTUS has no enforcement arm. Ultimately, whether or not their decisions carry any weight is a matter of public opinion and political will. View Quote That’s not strictly speaking true. They can hold people in co tempt and could order them jailed, and have. |

Kamala was AG of California. Let that sink in for a minute. Y'all better hope she doesn't get in the Whitehouse. You know she has a place for Newsome somewhere at the table.

View Quote California is the most populous state. There aren't enough conservatives in the US to flip it. Unfortunately the reverse isn't teue: californians moving to a spardely populated state can flip it easily. |
