I am not sure I would phrase it as such, but i do think the the Deep State would really like President that play ball and has a global view point.

Think about it, between the state department and CIA, you two giant orgnizations that are always angling to get the best kickbacks. That State Official needs a president who will give a blank check to some random third world country, so that one of their relatives can "consult" for one of the firms that is going to get a large payout.

Turnout for the Iowa caucuses fell far short of expectations. The leading campaigns were prepared for as many as 300,000 people to show up — 60,000 more than the record set in 2008. Instead just 176,000 showed up, less than 3 percent more than in 2016.
