My parents were bad about telling me the passing of my childhood dogs. I just got home on block leave after NTC, it was night time went out to the back and started calling for my dog. Nothing went inside and asked them where Buster was. Mom was like oh he died. They didn’t want to tell me because they didn’t want me to get stressed while I was away. Picked him out from the pound when I was in first or second grade. He was a beagle cocker spaniel mix. We also had a yorkie, that was a little shit but I was his person. I was texting my dad throughout the day one day when my sister tells me that he passed. I ask my dad and he was like yeah he died yesterday, like it was nothing. |

Love all the dog photo's!! I gotta say, for a site that seems to love putting the hate on Pit's, there are quite a few beautiful examples on display here. 👍 I have an American Staffordshire crossed w/a Rhodesian Ridgeback, (adopted @ 9 mo old) bred in W/NC to be "Catch dogs," for wild pigs. By FAR - the Absolute Best dog I have ever had. (11 yrs old now)  *If I can figure out how to post photos, I've got a ton to contribute. |

I still give unknown dogs a healthy dose of respect, but this guy has me converted. Granted, he is a Pit/Viszla mix. I wouldn't want him mad at me, that's for sure. I have seen what he will do to a chicken, 1 squirrel and guy trying to wonder I to our house. It isn't pretty and it was very impressive.... Attached File Of course he has backup... I take him to a doggy daycare once a week, and they have a nice pool for dogs, so he gets to swim and make big splashes diving in (which he loves) The daycare posts pictures on FB sometimes. This was the first time I know of they had him swimming with another dog Attached File |

I picked a bunch of tomatoes (Ike loves tomatoes, I can’t let him in the garden or he will steal all the nice ones) peppers, and some other stuff. I will be making Salsa all day today So Ike decides he is going to steal a pepper from one of the buckets.
