It's a 383/4sd stroked to 431 with ported stage 5 heads and 258@50 solid cam. Car revs though each gear quickly, which is fun. |

Local car show 2 weeks ago, Midnight at the Oasis. 3 nights of cars and 2 nights of concerts. On Friday they had a full parade for the 500+ cars. Burnouts were authorized (i asked a motorcycle cop along the route. He said, "don't wreck" and smiled. My wife took bad videos of this which I won't post. Attached File Attached File I also ordered new red seat covers to replace the black that are currently in it. |

Pretty cool OP. For some reason I don't beleive I have ever seen this thread before. Guy across the street has a white '67 Cornet RT 440 4-speed car. Pretty nice car and mostly stock but defiantly has a cam. Fun to drive around town in. Had a friend in HS that had an orange '70 RR but he never got the car finished and he sold it in the mid 80's. I love the 70 RR & GTX's. Even the bees that year. |

Hardest part about owning and restoring these cars are that some parts are 1 year only, and the panels aren't all reproduced. |
I installed a new Hughes solid flat tappet cam with more duration. 238/242 old cam, 246/250 new cam on a 108 degree LSA. I figured I could use it with the ported heads.  Mopar 440 Hughes STL4650 Solid Lifter Cam |
