Thanks brother!  We need to get together again.

Thanks guys!  New prosecutor is in, and he's sympathetic to helping get it released.  At this point, no one is quite sure what the procedure is, to get it to me.

I'm going to give the new prosecutor a little bit of time to get settled.  He's busy right now with the transition, new assistant prosecuting attorneys and going through all the cases he just took over.

None.

I've thought about going on the 10th anniversary (this October) and dropping some money into his cell mate's commissary account.

Missed this thread originally, but just spent over an hour going through it.

Awesome read, solidifies some of my daily thought process, and also lets me understand some of my shortfalls.

As someone who spends his daily life in the criminal courtrooms I am glad to hear yours went well and that your recovery went even better.

Body Building I assume?  What made you decide to go that route?

This is probably more of an answer than you wanted, but I'm pretty proud of those pics and the discipline that it took to get there.

In Feb of '09, I started going to the gym to stop being a fatty.  In October of '09, that piece of shit interrupted that for me.  As soon as I was able to, I got back in the gym and started hitting it hard.  I had a goal.  I wanted that cocksucker to look at me in the courtroom and see that despite hitting me 4 times, he didn't hurt me.  I only had a few months to work with but got back into decent shape and felt good about it when I went to court.  I couldn't control anything else but that and my testimony, and it gave me something positive to focus on.

I kept hitting it hard after the court date and achieved some goals that I didn't think I'd ever hit, a 315 bench press, then a 500 lb dead lift, then a 405 bench press.

In 2016, while watching a buddy fight MMA, I met a guy that was sitting at our table, who was just starting to coach people for show competition.  He thought that I had the size and that I could do well in Men's Physique, if I could lean out.  For a couple weeks, the idea was bouncing around in my head, and I love a challenge, so I messaged him and told him I'd do it.  The next day in the gym, I broke my left foot, goofing around.  My coach said we'd let it heal and hit the next competition, the following year.  I told him "fuck that, I already talked myself into this, so we're doing it."  13 weeks and a cut from 243 lbs to 187 lbs, and what I got was that first pic, the morning of my first show.  The second pic was about a year later, at my 3rd and probably last show.  I came into that one at 200 lbs.

I'm actually back up in the 240-245 lb range and setting and hitting new lifting goals, but getting chubby again.  I'm planning on a moderate cut in a couple weeks.  Pic below for current fatness.

Ass wiping is affirmative, as is scratching low to middle back.  Scratching middle to upper back, not so much, that's what door frames and occasionally the wife are for.

10 years ago last night.

Some days it feels like it was 50 years ago and some days it feels like it was yesterday.

Whoever reads this, I just want to let all of you know how much I've appreciated all the support and friendships I've made with you all over the years.  I've done my best to turn something bad into a positive thing.

Stay safe and stay armed,

Blitz

Hey this anniversary always seems to coincide with my birthday.

You wouldn't be willing to engage in some youtube shenanigans and tell this story, would you? I'd love to have you on one of my live streams on my youtube channel. Someone actually suggested you for this in the super secret lawyer side of arfcom. Or we could do it on Nolo's channel. Feel free not to unnecessarily arock yourself though.

I saw the post in the TN group, but the Rvl clan is going to shoot instead. Scott has been quarantined for a while (not sick), so he's itching to shoot.

I appreciate the invitation, but it's also a pain for someone to come get me, and then bring me back home.
