Time for a change. Anyone need a retired spaceship guard? I like stomping about and yelling, but I'm flexible. I ever know a little music. ETA: For those of you that didn't GD when CTD price increases were a thing, my insurance premiums are going up 38% (nearly $4,000 in total over the next year). It's isn't the end of the world, but it is pretty shitty. |

Maybe make it more clear what is going on OP. -38% as in rates are going up 38%? Why not say rates are going up 38% versus -38% savings if that is indeed the case.

State Farm just went up ALOT. Got my 6 month bill and it was an increase from 700 to 900+. Called my agent and he is like, state farm increased the rates everywhere. I'd look for another agency but I think everyone went up.

It typically isn’t worth the time or frustration to go looking. |

Ya that’s a big increase. And it’s likely the best they could do. Other carriers probably declined to even offer a quote. Source: I’m an employee benefits consultant. |

Before you stomp off be sure to compare your current level of coverage with regards to deductibles, co-insurance, etc with what you MIGHT be able to expect from another employer for less OOP premiums.
Insurance costs in general are going up, Up, UP......so don't be surprised to find it up everywhere unless it's locked in for a period due to a collective bargining agreement or similar contract. |
