WOW! Well done. OP!!! He's very handsome and by looking at that face, very happy and healthy. Best dogs are rescue dogs.

Good lookin' dog.
My rescue dog "OSA" is more of a run-in-the-wild and swim-in-the-lake kind of dog...

Regular brushing and grooming once a month work well

Mine are all rescues.  Two from shelters and two from people who got a nice little puppy and didn't like how big it got.

The two black dogs are from shelters.  Small guy is half golden retriever and half black lab (they said).  He's black with tan/beige areas on his hind legs and a white chin and two white feet. The taller, but thinner guy is a mix of who knows what.  He's black and brindle.

Got a 6 month old "puppy" next.  Given to us.  Supposed to be half Great Pyrenees and half St. Bernard.  Looks all GP to me.  When he stands up and puts his front feet on my wife's upper arms he's looking her in the face.  Gentle as can be, but runs the dog pen.

The last one is supposed to be half German Shepherd and half Great Pyrenees.  He's not the tallest buy he was 97 lbs. at his April checkup and he was just over a year old.  Vet says he's "perfect."

I guess I have to finish my post in another post.  Keeps kicking me back to the 1st page when I try to add this last picture.

In this picture we'd just got him and we were told he was 6 or 7 months old.  He just got bigger.

OP, super well done to you.

Meet "Lilly" had her 10 weeks now and she is really happy pup.  Neglected but fortunately not physically abused. about 18 months old and was hair and bones when we took her in to foster.  She is so gentle and affectionate not to mention a great partner for our Lab, well we made it official and are as happy as she is.

Then there is Grace's cousin BEAR, started out a very young and difficult looking future, saved by the best couple we know...

grown some since LOL
