I have a brand-new Bambu P1S, AMS 2 Pro, and several spools of filament. I ordered one spool of PLA just to play with for now, and 4 spools of PETG for projects that I intend to complete later (They need to be sturdier). Several observations: *Drying function with the AMS 2 Pro works just fine, but it's a serious pain in the ass setting it up from the dinky little screen on the printer. An interface from Bambu Studio would be nice, but it worked. I dried out the PLA overnight and printed a couple test pieces today. All seems to be working OK. *I really need instructions written for a 10-year-old. Their website WIKI doesn't explain things in a way that I can really understand. Yeah, I'm an old guy. Some basic definitions and graphics dedicated to the specific machine would be great. *Detailed instructions on how to solve problems/malfunctions would also be a welcome addition. They tell you what's fucked up, but don't offer much in the way of solutions. So far, I have one spool of PLA to play with. After today's exercise I had to vacuum-pack it with a desiccant packet until the rest of my supplies arrive. I have a quantity of desiccant beads ordered and a dry box to store everything in after drying. If all goes well I'll be able to dry out the PETG and get to work on some more serious projects. Wish me luck...I could use it.

You should be able to find help with any troubleshooting by just making a post on this forum if needed  .Otherwise, welcome to the addiction! Once you unlock CAD, you will feel you have gained a super power! |

CAD is gonna be an entirely different story! Once I master the machinery, I may delve more deeply into the design aspects. For now, it's just gonna be a matter of figuring out how to make it all run with other folks' files! I appreciate the input...I'm sure I'll have a shitload of questions to ask! |
