I ordered a 9 gallon portable fuel tank to run the engine off of so we can get it starting and running. We seem to be having consistent fuel issues with the BRDM. That's why I couldn't get it started last time. |

They are supposed to be different, one short one long because they are spatially on different spots in the brake carriage. Attached File The orange springs are the correct ones and different from the black springs. Shame. Attached File Tomorrow we will install the new dampers. The Polish guy sent the wrong springs so I have to get him to re order those and make sure he sends the right ones. The Russian guy was always spot on every time because the parts came from a Russian military warehouse, of course they fit

After 3 and a half weeks with most of that being stuck in Customs it's finally being released and allegedly arrives tomorrow. 40 pounds of parts all listed above and this means I can put the front drive shaft to axle back together. |

The worst part is the brake nuts still aren't there, the seller forgot them.

Attached File This is the only damn nut I'm waiting on to put my BRDM front back together. I ordered some from my polish guy and his drop shipper didn't put them in the box. Frustrating. I went to ebay and ordered some from a Dutch based seller and the order was placed a few days ago and hasn't shipped yet. I figure a week to get it from the NL to here. I went to lowes today to see about matching one up and picked the closest one, no dice. Shame. This is Amerca. We build the best trucks, the best planes, the best guns but a nut can't be found.

The LH nuts arrived today. They still don't fit It won't even thread on. The RH nut would partially thread on and stop after a turn or so. At this point I'd pull my hair out if it wasn't already buzzed with a zero. As a last resort last week I placed an order with UAZPARTS on Ebay, based in the Netherlands, and they shipped it on the 1st or 2nd and it arrived today. 65 euros for 3 nuts, 8eu each with 40EU for shipping. I'm fit to be tied right now. I get all the parts needed and spend a good chunk of money getting them here and paying more than what was needed because of the tariffs. Attached File This little piece is missing. I had it back in early January. Attached File Where did it go? I searched my house, cars, truck, and shop. It's no where. It's roughly the diameter of a dime and about 3/4 inches long. We were planning on having the BRDM running on the stands this week but can't because of that one missing bolt/nut piece whatever it is. Attached File Attached File Attached File Rear drums back on, all 4 shocks have been replaced. I sent messages to my Polish contacts and starting beating the tree of every dealer in Europe. I can find the diagram of the part but in cyrillic it says "For parts 1-8 see 4224" and I go to sub group 4224...it's not in the manual, almost like it's been cut out. My nuclear option is to spend 600$ and send it off to TI64 again. I'd rather not do that because of the price and it takes a little longer than getting it from Europe because they have to cad it out, qoute it, and then machine it all. |

That piece is the same one I tried to get last month from my Polish source but he couldn't get them.  Checked my Whatsapp messages. 4 options now- A) custom TI fabrication (What I've done in the past). Most expensive, time consuming. Custom TI fab takes time and lots of money and costs more because of TI imports. B) Hold out for the Polish guy to deliver (He's ready my messages, waiting on a response). 2nd most expensive, face more tariffs. C) Ukrainian guy offered to make some on a lathe-cheaper option but the most time. D) Polish guy said he'll make me some for free (Same guy who sent the brake line nuts). The most time. I can't really demand someone making something for free to do it quickly |

The fab shop has had the samples since Thursday. Called yesterday and they hadn't gotten to measuring and making prototypes for a cost estimate yet. I know it'll be in the 500-700$ range unfortunately Sigh..taking their time unfortunately. |

Went to go retitle the BRDM in Texas today from Vermont. Texas DMV threw a fit, of course. Never mind I had the plates and all that and a registration sheet. Ohwell..time to contact Vermont DMV and just get the registration updated there. |
