Good luck OP Big respect for a lady who knows what to carry in bear country. 
If she said, "G19 with FMJ is fine for bear, this guy one time lived after peppering the bear that eventually died - instead of the bear taking one or two swipes with alllll that life left in him - So muh perfect G19 is fine for bears. And I don't wear my seatbelt either." Then I wouldn't have voted for her
