I told myself that my next guitar was going to be a PRS Hollow body. I have been doing pretty good with stashing away a little hear and there until last week. I have a small set back when the Madcat came back in stock, and I had to have one, but it was worth it. It doesnt compare to my American Fender but I can buy 8 more for what that Fender cost. LOL

Speaking of inexpensive guitars, on Youtube the reviewers have been pretty happy with Fesley guitars which can be bought through Amazon

Turns out every issue I had was related to crappy factory strings. I tossed on a set of Slinky 10's the other day and I can tell you this thing can now keep up with the best of them with one small exception. The back of the neck is very grippy. Thinking of the ole steel wool mod, but not sure if I am brave enough to purposely deface a guitar. I love the satin necks on my Fender and PRS, so it will probably happen soon.
