SAF does good work Not a national org per se but NYSRPA is currently the plaintiff in the shall issue case SCOTUS just agreed to hear, the decision will have implications for gun rights throughout the entire country. They are currently the ones on deck to fight the next big battle for national 2a rights. |
| No national group has spent more nor fought more cases in court than the NRA. None have even won as many. None has helped get more 2A legislation passed either. The whiners can trash talk whatever but all they can do is trash talk. They got nothing else to bring to the table. |

Every time I hear about a win in court nowadays it's FPC, SAF, GOA, or some local/state org doing it. Not the NRA. All I hear from the NRA is solicitations for cash, and stories about their own management/corruption issues, and their own court losses. They're collapsing, and they can't effectively fight the fight that needs to be fought. The time for them to get their shit together was 5 years ago. They failed. Now it's time to pass the torch. |

The NRA needs to get it’s act together or it is pretty much a deadman walking. They may be around promoting matches, selling range insurance, running their training programs, but will never be a strong lobbyist for gun rights. On the legal end the NRA always was ‘we are waiting for the perfect case’ but then when someone else pushes a case forward that it looks like a really good chance of winning they throw some money at it so they can claim a victory. |
