What is everyone expecting for the 2021/2022 heating season? We have a place in WY and I'm trying to figure out what to expect. I just checked the prices there. NG - $5.72 / Propane - $1.51. Big rise coming?

Have to watch Bellevue for propane, it’s at 1.52 today so add whatever cost they add to that. Locally it goin for $2.89 gallon for 200+ and way more for under 200 gallons.

Just got an email from my natural gas provider that the price will be rising soon. They said approximately $5.15/month increase due to infrastructure changes and NOT due to last February’s cold snap.

In July 2021 natural gas prices in Texas $3.97.  In July 2020 it was $1.74. I wonder what changed?

That is just Henry Hub, then you have to include the adder for basis (where the gas located in the US)  Basis for New England for Jan Feb is $18

LNG going out with low storage volumes is the main cause.  And fuel oil storage is low and no trucks to deliver it anyway.

It could turn out to be a mess

It’s supposed to be pretty bad, prices have tripled and are only going up.

It’s all completely by choice and thanks to Biden’s fracking and pipeline fuckery. We have enough natural gas to go for 100 years or more domestically. It’s insane.

I just had my 250 gallon tank swapped out for a 500 today. Getting it filled ASAP. Don't know what my price is yet, but I'll try and tag an update. Northern Arizona.

$2.975/ga on a 425 ga fill. If I was just getting topped off, he said more like $4/ga
