I wonder if that's one of the AWD 5.7s.

I don’t think so. The AWD Chargers have different wheels.

I'll be frank, I had no idea it snowed in GA.

Don’t tell the Texans, but Georgia has far more variation and beauty than they think they do.

You start seeing snowfall in that Piedmont region, and it starts getting real in the mountains.

I bet that looks great pulling over cars with out of state plates for 6 over.

Another vote from me for GSP

Michigan is a close second, if only they could ditch the goofy red light.

As far as great photos go Alaska Troopers were at least as good this year.

I can't think of the numbers exactly, but Ford is back to having the highest share of the US LE market.

It's been my observation that the Fords are more common in municipal departments and the Chargers and Tahoe's are more regularly seen on the highway. Probably because the Chargers brakes can't stand up to stop and go driving in town.
That makes no sense considering the Charger needs to go from 150-0 more often on the Highway.

I guess the rest of the country must be buying them because it sure as fuck ain't DFW agencies except some explorers (cough police interceptor SUV).

My city is heavy on chargers and tahoes, with limited explorers in patrol and admin.

I honestly cannot remember even seeing a new Taurus in patrol anywhere around here.  The Aussie Caprice was the same.  Very limited use around me.

No armor? Besides having roughly the same offroad capabilities as a Jeep, what "special response" is that good for? I could see an up armored one being useful for SWAT if they couldn't afford a bearcat, but that looks about as useful as an AR pistol with a backwards Eotech on it.

My friend at a very small PD in NC drove one they had during an ice storm.  He had a new patrol car and didn't want to fuck it up

There's wasn't as nice as that one either

Can't help but notice that agencies aross the nation seem to have universally rejected Ford's junk in favor of Dodge.

It likely has a lot more to do with the Chargers being able to get to highway speed in a reasonable amount of time.  The Fords are total gutless pigs.
