| I played Skyrim years ago. Moved into COD warzone for years now. I have an PS5 Any games out there that gives you the Skyrim feel and adventures ? I realize the PS4 is very limiting. WD |

I realize the PS4 is very limiting. WD Any of the Fallout games, New Vegas is the best imo (if you haven't played them). Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 (PS4) Horizon Zero Dawn was decent. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a remake/remaster of a 2012 RPG adventure game that nailed the questing system and feel of an MMORPG but in a solo game. Really liked the game back then, the remake is beautifully done. Witcher 3 And just realized you said PS4 only. Mark a lot of these off. You're going to be very limited

It is janky, clunky, and very hard to get into. The game is beautiful, and very fun to play, but it takes time AND effort to get into and enjoy. KCD2 does away with a lot of that headache, but it is still a pretty hard game. KCD 2 can be jumped right into without playing KCD1 with limited issues related to the story because it is ultimately it's own story and has little to no connection with the original story aside from Henry's beef with a certain person. You will miss a lot of details that NPCs say that are related to the first game, but generally it won't impact your gameplay one bit. I say yes, but don't sleep on it or KCD2. KCD1 takes a long time to play through fully, I am right at 100 hours to complete the campaign and DLC campaigns with a bit of extra exploring and doing sidequests. I am at 80 hours in KCD2 and have barely done any of the main campaign story. I've literally been running around and doing a lot of side quests and just enjoying the game. There is a lot to do, and a lot of hidden quests around that you otherwise wouldn't know about had you not taken the time to explore off the beaten path. |

+1 for the Witcher 3 on PS5, looks gorgeous now with last modern consosle updates. My favorite open-world game to date. BG3 should get a mention even though I don't think it qualifies strictly as an adventure game. It's not open world, and its combat is turn-based strategic. But still has a lot of what every adventure game has. |
