Squarewave 200 has been upgrayedd to 205. Looks to be the same basic thing, but the big deal is the $1530 msrp! The 200 was $1600 through 2019 and then crept up every year to the $2780 current msrp. Lincoln often has 25% rebate on these, so if you keep an eye out you might be into a really nice Lincoln for under $1200 again. I am curious how they can update a machine and lower the price by 40%? | I'm still rocking an older Square Wave 175 and Invertec V-250s. I really wanted a newer Lincoln 200 class, but ended up going with a couple HF and Eastwood import models...never could find a Lincoln for a decent enough deal. |

The cheaper Lincoln welders are full of chinese made parts and fail with time. The main board cost almost as much as a new welder making them disposable. If I needed a small dual voltage tig/stick welder, HTP and Fronius are two I'd look at. I have both welders linked below and they're really good. The Fronius comes with a nice rolling case and is my field tack/repair welder.
