Bunch of chinese in my classes that barely spoke English and in no way should have passed the class but get pushed through. US universities can’t cut off the out of state/ country money machine. |

Every big tech company is also filled with Chinese assets. I work at a less interesting but decently sized tech company, one day a guy with a distinctly madarin name messaged me about some code that only I had worked on. He didn't need to be in that code either. Curiously I searched him on linkedin and he attended the same prestigious CCP University as Xi Jiang Pi.
He was 100% a CCP plant vacuuming up all of our code base, but I dared not to say anything least I be fired for not being inclusive. Western companies willingly give Chinese nationals access to all their secrets in the name of DEI. |

In 1999 a tech firm I worked at had issues, to say the least, with the Chinese really wanting to copy our technology. We were even briefed on how they are compromised among other nationalities. Anyway, the company I worked for then sold equipment to the Chinese (summer 2000ish) who proceeded to reverse engineer them after our field engineers left after commissioning them. It was...bonkers to say the least. A year later I was laid off along with a lot of my coworkers due to the tech bubble bursting and our focus primarily on lasers and equipment related to fiber optics. |
