I know a site redesign is underway, but would be great to get this one change in the interim - add a highlight to the note icon, the same way the message and issue icons light up at top-right when there is a new item to be addressed.
e.g., No note:  Note:  I appreciate that's a lot of processing with 50 posts to be evaluated on each page, and it is end-user specific, so pre-processing would be tougher than the other info displayed for a poster, but you are clever guys.
