We can only imagine what's in Taco Bell "meat" or McDonalds "chicken" nuggets...I'll take a guess on this one - beaks, bones, and buttholes? Bon Appetit! |

Subway is so fucking gross. Just about every grocery store deli will make you a sub or sandwich using far better quality ingredients. Wegmans being the king of grocery store subs.

Goddammit I usually get the tuna when I go to Subway. The tuna is probably ground-up hagfish...

Wegmans being the king of grocery store subs. Pub Sub or no sub at all Correct. Pub Sub is the best sub Pub subs are great. Harris Teeter (NC, SC and Georgia) is better IMHO. Much better sub rolls and bigger too. Very close but better. When I lived in FL, pub subs were my go to, then moved to NC and HT is better all around. Publix are opening all around me, so I can get both, still prefer HT, but won't ever say no to PubSub |

You get Dominated at Subway |

What do you expect when you pay $5 for a foot long?
I'll hit Jersey Mike's or a locally owned sub shop if I'm near one if I want a sub. Harris Teeter has good subs too, as stated above. I lived within a couple miles of one for 10 years or so, I miss it. |

Subway responded to the lawsuit in January, saying there is "no truth to the allegations in the complaint" and affirming the chain "delivers 100% cooked tuna to its restaurants."
Seems they're used to stretching the truth. |

The lab determined two potential reasons why no tuna was detected in the sample, saying, "One it’s so heavily processed that whatever we could pull out, we couldn’t make an identification … Or we got some and there’s just nothing there that’s tuna," the newspaper noted.
Experts told the Times that when tuna is cooked, its protein breaks down, making it hard to identify, so the lab results may not be accurate, according to the Times. |

Who says the cooking of the tuna doesn’t destroy the DNA?

I will just continue eating at the local gas station. The ladies there make a home cooked meal everyday at lunch. Today was soup beans, cornbread, fried chicken livers, fried potatoes, and strawberry cake for $5.99.

Subway is so disgusting.
It wasn't so bad about 20 years ago but then so many new franchise owners came in that were huge penny pinchers. My friend worked at the same Subway for 4 years back in the late 90's. She told me how when the new owners came in, they would find ways to save money buying the lowest quality meats and cheeses. Even the bread tasted different. Where as the old owners actually gave a shit and used higher end products. She was also instructed to be super skimpy on the meats and vegetables even though the prices stayed the same. Within a month there was hardly any lines, the place sat empty, and then a year or so later closed down. |

While I hate Subway even in the article it says once it is cooked its hard to detect.

Subway near my former employer gave me and a few others food poisoning. Closed for a while and reopened. I am not taking any chances after that shit and puke extravaganza.
