That's a beautiful revolver. I've got a 686 no dash and would love a 586 in nickel or blue. Looking hard for a 3".
Those grips really make the gun. Some of my favorites.

First time I've ever seen it written as "three hundred and fifty seven"

I'm a .44 guy anyway.

The 19-3 is really nice, but the 586 gets shot a lot more.

Nice taste in revolvers, op. I'm kind of partial to my pre-lock 686.

Nice. I have a 1970's Python, blued with 6" barrel I bought from a retired cop buddy. Not really a hand gun guy but it is a joy to shoot. Enjoy!!!!!

Very nice! Looks just like mine. I can't remember if mine has the Patridge front sight or not, though. I know my 627 does.

Nice gun, terrible grips.  They are big where your fingers are short, and short where your fingers are big.  They're more comfortable if you hold the gun upside down.

There are some beautiful guns in this thread but if I ever get a .357 it'll have to be a 6" half lug GP100.

Had one back when they were still an authorized primary duty gun for us.  Foolishly sold it when they came off the approved list. Still ragret that.

As I get older I’ve really come to appreciate .357, .45 and .308.

I still like .38, 9mm and 5.56. But there’s something appealing about the bigger stuff and they’re honestly pretty shoot able IMO

I’ve got more .357 revolvers than I know what to do with anymore. A king cobra, original Python,686,Ruger Gp and an engraved Taylor and company but I think one of my favorites because it’s just so obscure is the Great western .357 Atomic.

how about a 4'' Highway Patrolman, I got this when my dad passed back in 2010 and have never shot it. he got it back in the early '70s or late '60s I think and if anyone knows any info on these and wants to share I would appreciate it, I don't know anything about revolvers but would like to know the value or model, etc. it is never going to be for sale I just don't know Squat about it.
