My "slow ass" remark was supposed to be sarcastic. The description is from the site where I found the picture.

Check out this little kitty cat. Like my pocket killer this cat knows how to blend. My cat is always aware of background color. When we go walking at night he'll hide in plain sight just because the background blends so well with his coloring.

Mrs TB and I were there in March. She is staring at the gentleman fussing at us for taking our masks off for the photo.

I'll probably stare at this thing for a few hours when I have time. That's cool AF.

Visitor to the fish pond.  Maybe it'll eat some of the recently hatched fish (please).

Same here. Regarding "observable" universe I find this interesting as well

I watched the video. It was very interesting. For a long time the argument has been accidental creation or intelligent design. I have believed in our creator since I was a small child. The older I get (61) the more I am convinced he is is our creator. It is no mistake were here, and all of mans wisdom is foolishness in Gods eyes. I'm sure the thoughts of the great minds spoken about in the video have made God giggle if not outright belly laugh. I can hear Maxwell Smart saying, "missed it by this much".

This life is temporal and so yes a simulation, but only a shadow of what is to come when our souls/spirits leave our earth suits. The bible said God unrolled or stretched out the fabric of the universe, and we are the center of the universe. That is why Einstein's theory is not a theory anymore, it has been proven to be a fact.

How did they get the chain through?

If they don't shovel that mud out it will just go right back in.  I hope they were pulling downstream.

Although a couple of your Art Deco examples are actually examples of Futurism/Constructivism/Bauhaus, as an art historian I appreciated this post.

[T]here seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously-after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important ... so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be ignorant and subliterate every time he opens his mouth.
