I was a High School kid waking up after a kegger at Lake Wenatchee (Eastern WA). It was LOUD! By the time we got home all of that mountain that went up was now coming down on our side of the state. It was bad, like snowing dirt and ash, you couldn't make it go away either, DOT and State Patrol vehicles were all rendered useless within hours. The "fallout" was so fine that there was no air filter that could stop it, nobody was going anywhere.
I still have a jar of ash around here somewhere.
