We parked in a farmer's field and I stepped in a cow paddy and had to dodge a bunch of others. |

GA pricing seems a bit high compared to some other races, but Silverstone also appears to be very GA friendly.
There's GA access pretty much around the entire perimeter of the track, so it's probably a good value in practice. I'm sure you need to get there damn early though, to stake out a good spot to setup your camp chairs ... |

That’s the week-to-week narrative to keep the fans engaged. This is a special “Rule Britannia” narrative that asks fans to not consider last years record attendance during a historic domination by a very non-British team. |

F1 eventually ditching hybrids?
Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali believes the series’ new engine regulations for 2026 could be the last which require hybrid power units. The new rules, which were agreed two years ago, will rely more heavily on electrical power than before. But Domenicali believes the arrival of ‘sustainable’ fuels in 2026 will allow F1 to do away with hybrids and shift back to using conventional combustion engines in the future. “My personal opinion is that it would be sufficient to use climate-neutral fuel,” he told Auto Motor und Sport. “However, we had to take the manufacturers’ wishes into account. Kind of how they do it now in sports cars, where there is no prescribed engine formula, just a maximum power output. Would love to see F1 do something similar, and take the leash off the most highly paid and innovative engine designers in the world. If they just said, "OK, you're limited to a maximum of 900 HP at the crank. We don't care how you get there, but we'll be actively monitoring the output. Go." |

(within the last 20 years) I would love to see a F1 race there, but the roads into it would not be enough to support the crowd and the facilities would need a major upgrade. |

I’m curious why a Swiss court has jurisdiction, though. Unless it’s specifically written in the contract that this is where disputes are heard. |

I don't know how a country that bans motorsports and none of the participants are from is going to enforce it. I don't think we have an extradition treaty with them. |

I’m curious why a Swiss court has jurisdiction, though. Unless it’s specifically written in the contract that this is where disputes are heard. Undoubtedly the case. Both parties agree how and where disputes will be heard. To be absolutely fair, while it is within Haas’ contractual rights to terminate the relationship, I’m surprised that they thought they could keep the money ($13 million). They dumped both Mazipin and Uralkali before the season started. |

Bearman looking damn good in the HAAS. He's running nearly identical times to K-Mag and is just a tad quicker on some laps. He's on par with Hulk's performance. Very impressive for a rookie.

The overhaul let me step up one of my constructor selections from Haas to Alpine. Haas doesn't look very good and Alpine was rolling today. |
