There's a couple homes between Idaho Falls and Jellystone and one south of Moab in Utah. We really need the colder weather.

Yeah the panhandle would be pushing my luck.

West Texas too hot, east too humid.

My wife wants hardiness zone 5-6.

Yeah I'm good with that. I learned to drive in Chicago. The first night I had my license I took my brother and my mom's '73 avocado green pinto station wagon and spun them 270 degrees through an intersection and into a snowbank.

I got better.

But there is pretty much no humidity.

And you'll get snow in the winter. And ice covered roads.

It's for sure a learning process but it's really not hard.

When I was a volly FF out there, the first snow/ice would be calls for a ton of Tech kids who had no idea how to drive on it and the ones who thought because the had 4WD they were good to go.

Aside from the scariest day of my life today, I laid out every penny of my life savings to buy a lame ass Taycan turbo S. To buy the car I want.

Oh time to play with the big boys. I will lose, I know.

As long as there's not too many. Or too close.

We had two HUGE ones here on our 1/8th acre McLot. One I had to pay $1200 to cut away from the south side solar array. It was 8" from my roof and leaning towards the house. Not going to risk that. The pros climbed up that thing and took it down from the top 2-3' at a time.

I'll start watching eventually. Wife was AT&T only allows two at one time. Wife was watching in our room. Her sister is about to be here so she leaves our room on and goes and starts it in the living room. I turned off the stream in our room. Now to wait for AT&T to realize it.

I have been saving for 10 years to buy an Aston. But I had a chance to buy a GT3RS.  And after hours of working through the transfer of the car from Atlanta to here, the Chicago dealer offered the Taycan for a build of a 2022.

I think the the dealers did some horse trading, and I have a build allocation for a 2022 GT car, for buying the Taycan.

They used to get the hint when we took our lunches there. Then they'd wander to the lightrail, where we'd deal with them again.
