I agree... if the UKR soldiers get an upgrade in treatment, then it's a win. Who knows what will happen to prisoners if things go sideways for the russians during this offensive? How many POWs will get caught in the blast of friendly fire? Not going to happen with these at least. |

I don't think Olga Scabby Beaver is calling for 2-3 million Chinese troops to come help them fight Ukraine. She is lamenting the fact Russia doesn't have a massive 3 million man army like during the Soviet days or like China is capable of fielding.

So take it from me- the key to comms with foreigners that don’t speak a lot of English is simple sentences and active tense. Especially when using auto translators  . He got lost in your gene pool metaphor joke. |

Several short sentences are better than a long one, even if repetitive. And be very explicit with no frills or fancy clauses. E.g. “I have a friend that knows drones very well. Can he talk to your drone person? My friend can help your friend solve drone the drone problems.” To a foreigner using auto translate (like I’ve used to understand my wife’s family) it doesn’t sound insulting in anyway. They’re happy to understand. Everyone is happy when they understand  |
