Still, PIs seem to be pretty common in late game scenarios, and it's crazy this is the first time Mahomes has gotten one in 116 games. |

Included last night's game. Due to the way they track the stat, I removed any "GWD" that occurred prior to another successful scoring drive by the Chiefs. Only included drives that gave the Chiefs the final lead with no more scores in the game. Also did not include any of those drives that occurred with more than 10 minutes left in the game.
REGULAR SEASON SUCCESSFUL GAME WINNING DRIVES (16) Without a defensive penalty: 8 games With a defensive penalty: 8 games (9 total penalties) Subsection: With a penalty that kept the drive alive (3rd/4th down): 4 games (4 total penalties) *Two of the GWD's began on turnovers by the opponent in their own red zone. Chiefs scored within 3 plays on both. In a third game they began within FG range and handed the ball off 3 times before kicking a field goal. Not sure any of those three should count in this discussion, but they are all included in the numbers above as 3 without a penalty. POST SEASON SUCCESSFUL GAME WINNING DRIVES (4) Without a defensive penalty: 2 games With a defensive penalty: 2 games (2 total penalties) Subsection: With a penalty that kept the drive alive (3rd/4th down): 2 games (2 total penalties) |

Via FOX NEWS: Family of Blackfeet chief, face of NFL's Redskins for 48 years, wants his image back in NFL
The family of the Blackfeet chief who served as the face of the Washington Redskins for 48 years want his image back on the fields of the NFL, relatives told Fox News Digital. The descendants of John Two Guns White Calf also want his incredible life story retold, too, to a new generation of Americans who seek unity and value multiculturalism. The White Calf family has support in Washington, D.C. from one of their Montana senators, while the NFL franchise itself, now known as the Washington Commanders, is making new efforts to honor the team's heritage. "The fans want him back and we want him back," Thomas White Calf, a great nephew of the celebrated early-20th-century native, said this week by phone, hours after the family met with Sen. Steve Daines, R-Montana. "Our ancestor was the most famous and most photographed native in history," said White Calf, who was joined on the call by his mother, Delphine White Calf, a niece of the late Blackfeet chief. "Two Guns was also the face on the Indian head nickel. I'm proud of him. The Blackfeet are proud of him." |

That's bizarre. It'll be interesting to see what moves they make. |

From Jordan Schultz: Panthers QB Bryce Young and those close to him were "very shocked" at the organization's decision to bench him this morning. "It came out of nowhere," one source said.
Safe to say no one anticipated the plug being pulled after just two games with a new coaching staff. |

All five of New England's starting linemen are listed as questionable on today's injury report...
Vederian Lowe: Knee - DNP Sidy Sow: Ankle - DNP David Andrews: Hip - DNP Layden Robinson: Shoulder - LP Mike Onwenu: Wrist - LP Meanwhile Jake Andrews and Tyrone Wheatley are on IR. Cole Strange is on the PUP list. And Chukwuma Okorafor was placed on the exempt list prior to the game. So... The Patriots total list of offensive linemen not injured in some way? Caedan Wallace Demontrey Jacobs Michael Jordan Nick Leverett Zach Thomas End list... 5 guys. All backups. Out of 14 on the depth chart. |
