Gemini crews rode in ejection seats, so probably not an option. Once in orbit no gravity, so they could just unstrap and float up and do the needful. The same basic thing was done for Apollo missions, though they had a bit more room to maneuver. Still, mistakes were made.

Actual real life transcript from Apollo 10:

lmao... I hope they got a shitter on Starship.  That trip to Mars could get really really messy otherwise.

Jetty Park boat launch usually has lots of free parking and room. I go there sometimes for launches but stay away on weekends.
It's real close , mostly locals attend. It's at Port Canaveral.

That launch, the 'Synchronized Landing' and the deployment of 'Star Man' was about the most amazing thing that I Ever Viewed.
And, I remember the first manned moon landing.

I've seen a Mercury capsule and the Apollo 14 capsule on display.

The Mercury capsule was so small I briefly considered walking over, picking it up and trying to walk out the door with it.

@AJE

Routine launches maybe 50 people.
Special launches maybe 200 but that's a guess , I tend to avoid large crowds/traffic for big launches as most locals do.

Did you have to pay to get in?

The day after Demo-1 I tried to get in there because I was interested in camping there for a launch. I drove up and told the guy I was thinking of camping here for a future launch, can I take a look around for a few minutes and leave?

No, had to pay $10 or whatever it was just to take a look at the camping area. Guy was a real jerk about it too like I asked to see his wife naked.

So how's the camping there?

I think Jetty park is closed for camping because of covid.
The boat launch is a public facility and it's free parking , and there is lots of it.
Take a left turn at the park entrance and you are right there. It's right beside a shipping terminal.
It's also directly across from the sub base a CCAFS and occasionally you can catch a boomer coming or going.
Those boats are massive and most impressive !

That's Jetty Park alright. Campground just in the edge of the pic to the west. Looked at taking our RV there a couple years ago for a launch.

It's a bit choppy out there...

".WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
A fresh to strong northeast to east breeze will produce hazardous
boating conditions across the coastal waters today and tonight.
Northeast to east winds 20 to 25 knots with seas 7 to 10 feet are
expected and a Small Craft Advisory remains in place for the
adjacent Atlantic waters."

I think it actually landed closer to center than that, and the rough seas are responsible for moving it off center.

Yes, they though of that. Too much mass.

If you want to watch the first stage landing (and launch if they launch from SLC40)
Part Canaveral is where you seek.

Anywhere on the North Side of A1A with an unobstructed view of the water.

Me and the family watched the SAOCOM1B launch and landing from there this past August 30th.

@webtaz99

I would have the astronauts eat small metal ball bearings, it would act like fiber, and then the bag would have an electromagnet around it.

If one can’t push $hit into a bag because of zero G, I’d have the docs reduce the fiber intake.
