1) Background info: Source
"A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch a classified spacecraft payload for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office. The mission is designated NROL-108. The first stage booster is expected to attempt a return to launch site landing at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. " 2) Launch window: 9:00 AM - noon (19 December 2020) 3) Launch Site: Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A), Kennedy Space Center, Florida. 4) Webcast viewing options: a. SpaceX webcast (Starts about 20 minutes before liftoff) b. Some guy owned a wrecking yard off the 50 and cleared out the back of it for a shooting range. He was celebrating his Son coming home from the sand box. One of the guys there had a Bushmaster .50 and invited everybody there to shoot it , yeah I took a turn on that bad boy ! Wouldn't doubt if you were there (probably 25 guys) LOL |

I'm still amazed that they can land the booster on a pitching and yawing target that is So Small. The hardware and software required to do that boggles my mind. |

Local news is saying they want to launch as soon as the window opens up.
Clouds and a bit of moisture coming in from the East. Was going to head out to the Port but it's chilly and the vantage point from here is pretty good so I'm staying put. |
