Not in my view.   Starliner has been a massive show of ineptness similar to the 737 Max.

The next Starlink launch  (6 May 2022) occurs before sunrise.  However, it may not be dark enough on the ground along the US east coast to have great plume lighting events.  I would look anyway and another day or two delay would only improve lighting conditions on the ground.

I am pleased that it was great visually.  This is a good data point for future pre-sunrise and post-sunset events.

Update:  For Jacksonville FL here are today's sun events.  Times are EDT.

Twilight Astronomical: 5:11 AM
Launch:   5:42 AM
Twilight Nautical: 5:43 AM
Twilight: 6:14 AM
Sunrise: 6:39 AM

I really misread something.  I had thought it was launching about 20 minutes before sunrise.  It was almost an hour.   I would have made another thread about it so more people would have seen it.

I know I'm very late to the party, but I believe they've said that's because they're now using Starlink on the landing ships, and the array is less prone to having issues with shaking.

A closer look at the “jellyfish” produced by Falcon flying into the not-yet-risen sun.

The brightest spot is the 2nd stage burning, and the little line next to it is the 1st stage beginning its trip back down to the droneship.

Falcon 9 lifts off just under an hour before sunrise, delivering 53 Starlink satellites and giving Space Coast visitors and residents a brilliant show!

You can also see Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter over on the right side! 🪐

The four-person crew who will fly on the all-private Polaris Dawn mission — set to include the first commercial spacewalk and the debut of SpaceX’s extravehicular spacesuit — will begin training this month for their ride on a Dragon spacecraft to an altitude more than three times higher than the International Space Station.
