Justice for Ashli Babbit - Her murderer must pay

Did anyone else notice what looked like blue flame in the skirt area of the second stage? Whenever they showed the correct nozzle view, it was to the right side of the screen.

Maybe I missed it, where is the launch site for the 6th?

I watched the launch from the river. Took the boat out. It was rough in the river but turned out to be a great launch. Skies cleared up nicely.

2ND stage burning, hoping for a clean landing.

87th successful landing..

Looks like they stuck the landing, again

Crazy how routine these launches and recoveries are becoming. Seems like at least one a week.
|
|
|
I keep thinking I’ll get bored watching SpaceX winning, but I’m not even close.

Jessie is wrong that the second stage places the SXM 8 satellite into its final orbit. It is an elliptical transfer orbit....unknown apogee.
She gets a pass. |

Saw it go up from near Knights, couldn't see the booster return.

SpaceX outfits drone ship for Panama Canal transit after 45th booster recovery
"Just a few hours after returning to Port Canaveral, SpaceX lifted Falcon 9 B1067 off of drone ship Of Course I Still Love You’s (OCISLY) deck, completing the vessel’s 45th successful East Coast booster recovery. Minutes later, SpaceX began loading unusual hardware onto the drone ship and it soon became clear that preparations were underway to transport OCISLY from Florida to California. Just an hour or two after B1067 was craned onto dry land, SpaceX began removing OCISLY’s water ballast and installing bumpers on the corners of the drone ship’s ‘wings,’ potentially indicating that the company’s plans to begin West Coast Starlink launches as early as July may actually be within reach." |

As of 805 PM EDT 14 June 2021 it appears that Mighty Servant 1 is still docked in Freeport. It is the green "boat" here.

Looking great, as usual.
Nice that the camera feed(s) from the landing was uninterrupted. |

I love how routine that booster landing has gotten. I'll never not find it amazing though!

Going to watch when the booster gets towed in , 2 legs outside the circle and it's got a good lean to it. I wonder if they had an avionics failure because this will be 2 recoveries in a row that the booster didn't nail the landing dead center. 2 previous before were dead center. I think next launch is RTLS , looking forward to that , it's been awhile. |

I think next launch is RTLS , looking forward to that , it's been awhile. It sure seemed to me that the rocket was working harder than it usually does during the final landing stage, don't know if that's true or not or whether it was just one of those weather related landings. Hell, even in my airplane after nailing a string of good landings I seem to screw the next one up for no apparent reason... |

I think next launch is RTLS , looking forward to that , it's been awhile. I wonder if they are deliberately coming in at even more of an angle than they used to .. additional safety maybe? I noticed last time that it seemed like they were further out to the side of the drone ship (at a lower altitude than I remember). So it could be the result of a slightly changed procedure maybe? Of course, the camera footage from the core is usually not that good, so it could be my imagination. |

Was that a piece of space junk that flew by at 28:52? That looked awfully close
