Official Strap Thread (Page 4 of 4)
I've tried most of the strap/material options out there (nylon, resin, silicon, rubber, sailcloth, leather, etc.) but I have found my absolute favorite... FKM Rubber .Its not quite as flexible/soft as silicon but close enough. The main reason I like it more is, all other materials (including silicon) tend to slide around on my wrist unless I really cinch them down but not this one. I can wear it loose enough to be comfortable but it stays put. I love that. That and FKM rubber is a stronger, longer lasting and overall better material then silicon. It pairs great with this Citizen Promaster "Excalibur" (BN0100-00E) because most dive watches are on the thick side but this one is only 11.5mm thick so together they make for a great daily wear combo. |
