I thought I would throw a project at ChatGPT in my Chrome browser and at least let it give me a head start. No problem until I asked it to generate me some files in a zip package I can download to open in an application. Numerous attempts using different prompts and I just can't get it to generate a downloadable link. It tries to say it is in a folder and to use my browser's file explorer to look for it. I did an entire search of my hard drive for the zip file and it's not there. I know absolutely nothing about running python scripts especially inside ChatGPT. i'm pretty sure chatgpt was hallucinating, no browser would let something write to your drive without explicit user interaction probably just ask it to dump the file contents to the chat window and cut/paste into a file (I think that was its first recommendation) |
