Can someone explain why ballot harvesting is an inherently bad thing?
If R's would get off their asses and roam the swing state middle class neighborhoods collecting ballots, we might counter the D's doing the same thing in the ghettos. Despite the perception, middle-class America still far outnumbers the ghettos. Or is ballot harvesting something else? Are the harvesters handing out pre-filled ballots and getting signatures? Something else I don't understand? |

Voting harder didn’t work.
So now we’re going to try bitching harder on the internet. People don’t want hard work, personal responsibility, accountability & no shit consequences for their actions. They want more government because they live in a land where the government takes care of almost everything for 50% of the population. Yes some of it was earned, S.S. & veterans benefits, but the vast majority of it was not. There was only 1 takeaway for me last night & it wasn’t an election result. It was a poll done by Fox News asking whether the government was doing “Too much?” Or “Not Enough?” 2/3 of those polled said the government “wasn’t doing enough.” Unfathomable to me, but no doubt the truth. A very disheartening truth. When you live in a nation with that mindset a conservative agenda is never going to sell. The only other noteworthy takeaway is that conservatives have flooded Florida. Which is great for Florida, but has turned purple states blue, red states purple & blue states deep blue. So overall it’s a net negative. |

I’m old enough to remember (last month) when everyone who said Trump was now a liability was called a never-trumper with TDS. Having now lost us our third election (two mid-terms and one presidential), maybe we can acknowledge and be grateful for what Trump did, and now move on with the MAGA agenda in more capable hands. |
