I have a very old set of spring tooth drags/ spring harrow some dumbass (not me this time) ran over in my field. Some stuff is bent and broken, and I have it almost repaired, but I need 1 part I need to remount to have the whole thing work. I have 2 pieces I could replace it with, but both have a stuck bolt/ pin that a different dumbass (me) cut the ends/ sides off. Pic below, and I need to remove just the circular pin from wither of them. Tools I have: bunch of battery and electric drills, crappy small drill press. Small crappy Dremel. Crappy battery and electric grinders. Flux core small welder. No torch (well, have mapp gas and propane) Hammer. Bigger hammer. Nice to me table saw (just like to brag, won't help here!) Is there a good drill bit to buy, because none of mine (including some bought because they were better) are touching this. What else can I do? Attached File |

My concern is I think its threaded, and if I cut both sides of "rod"/ pin off flush (pretty much what I did to the one on the left), its not going to move and I will just be more stuck. (Which might be fine. What's the cheapest torch set I can buy? Does auto zone or someone lend them out - I think we borrowed one like 30 years ago to do a brake job) |
