That's why if you are gonna cut much, you need two saws.

I dont have those, I just have a tractor with a bucket to force tension somewhere else and drop my saw.

Thanks. That's the "His" rifle. "Hers" is the same clone but has the MFT Minimalist stock, in 9x19, has a red mag release button, and a MOE-K2+ grip. Everything else is the same, literally.

She just had to be different and she's a tad recoil sensitive.

I like the storm photo.

I've been at war with thistle this year, so I don't like that one as much.

Not sure I could admit to that. But it was funny as hell watching him trying to get it out as soon as possible.
He was embarrass so I didn't rub it in till later. I couldn't belive how hard he stuck it. I've never used a chain saw.

The only things I have from Dad other than DNA are a shotgun (nothing special) and the family Bible (very special.)
Most got burned, or given to one of my 4 brothers.

That's all I need.

Something that really warmed my heart today.  We had mandatory "emergency action plan, fire extinguisher, and active shooter" training.

All through the course, the presenter kept saying "Fire? No one is going to help you; you are on your own."
A threat? No one i going to help you...
Tornado? No one is going to help you...
Shooter? No one is going to help you...

At EVERY point, someone made the statement that "No, Larry will have our back, Larry will take care of us, Larry would die saving us..."
"He risked his life..." and named several incidents.,
Every point. Different people.

I am Larry.

ETA: I am the "off shift" supervisor.

I've done that felling a pine tree.  Didn't have it far enough in to use a wedge.  Proceeded to get the truck stuck in the yard.  Got the saw out using a heavy line, snatch block and a come along.  After the tree was down used the come along to get the truck out.

The best part about diverticulitis?

You can take all the opiates you want without worrying about constipation!
Yay, explosive diarrhea!

The toilet bowl looks like a Jackson Pollack...

Local grocery had chicken leg quarters on sale for 39 cents a pound.
I baked off 20 pounds of them, just got done stripping the meat.  It will make a large church dinner and a few pots of soup later.  Just over a gallon of cooked dark meat.

I will probably do the shredded chicken hot sandwich thing for church.

I might make chicken burritos for the kids Monday; they like that.

Sounds great. Dark meat chicken is the best value out there. I can't remember the last time I heard a favorite recipe from Kitties.

I wonder what she has up that sleeve.

I don't do recipes.  Drives my girls nuts.

If I make sandwich, I will caramelize some sweet onions, add garlic, salt, pepper, and  hint of rosemary and sage.

Burritos will have salt, pepper, garlic and onion. (Basics).  No rosemary or sage, add cumin and hot peppers.
