I've been watching her channel for a while now. It's been interesting to see her start getting into, and understanding, metal music. She was really blown away by Queensryche and is really liking System of a Down.

I came across her channel recently. I don't know anything about singing, but find her analysis interesting. Kind of like Rick Beato but for singing; and she is nice to look at.

She has great videos great breakdown of technique. Cool to see her journey discovering the vocalists of heavier music and they they do, in fact, have a technique. She has a mousy beauty all to her own. Like, a sweet girl with a just a dash of naughty in there.

Or a more direct example; "I enjoy Iron Maiden and she reacts with an over the top positive reaction to it and now I like her because she makes me feel good about enjoying the music of Iron Maiden while communicating technical elements I wasn't aware of how to articulate." I've been watching her for a while. I don't necessarily think she's faking most of these, it's not hard to think that an opera singer didn't venture into music that wasn't down that avenue.
I enjoy that she understands the mechanics of singing and has a decent knowledge of instruments also, as well as articulating such to the viewer. There are very few intelligent reaction videos vs those that don't know a damn thing and put out reaction videos where they just nod their head to the music and hope to crank up the view counter for earnings. Really stuck my head in to post a vid of her reacting to herself, sort of gives her credibility, seeing as she's a legit singer instead of just a nobody. Our 13 year old has been on a metal kick and Iron Maiden is on our gym playlist in heavy rotation. Also, he's been buying vinyl for the hi-fi system. All punk and metal. Obviously, my wife and I have done something right. He's not impressed with my Prokofiev or Miles Davis, but this may come with time. |

I think she's the type of person that is extremely nice and will only point out the good in the videos. I think that's her personality and really it makes for a more enjoyable video. She does a good job of pointing out what each singer does well. I'd rather watch someone doing that than someone nitpicking everything wrong.
