Was always a big fan of Byron Berline and of Doug Dillard (The Dillards [who played "The Darling Family" on "The Andy Griffith Show"], Dillard & Clark, etc.). Here they are with Skip Conover (dobro) and a 20 year-old Billy Constable (guitar) performing it in June of 1979. Sadly, all have since passed.

String Cheese

The cheese used is commonly a form of mozzarella, or a combination of mozzarella and cheddar. This type of string cheese gets its name because it can be eaten by pulling strips of cheese from the cylinder along its length and eating these strings. It was invented in 1976 by Frank Baker.

Frank was my X FIL's best friend and business partner.

My cousin is married to the guy that came up with the marketing of "Strip Cheese"

I thought the Orange Blossom Special was the nooner hooker special working Miller’s Ale House on Orange Blossom Trail in front of the Florida Mall?

All of the above is the correct answer.

It's in there but it takes a while to get there.
Larry Franklin is the fiddle player here. He had a large following in North Texas for a while then played with Asleep at the Wheel for a few years. He has been a Nashville studio musician you have heard for decades but didn't know it.
