We were in Pueblo Colorado in 1974 visiting my aunt and she had a new potato chip that came in a can, Pringles....I remember that like it was yesterday, was years until they made the way to our part of the country....

But the original red can flavor is the best

I worked at a grocery store when Pringles started to get more popular in the mid 70's. The store let us eat things that were accidentally damaged. We had more box cutter "accidents" opening the Pringales boxes.

Probably coincided with them changing the frying oil.

This. I’m at deer camp and have a few tins in the blind. We were just discussing this today how they don’t taste the way they used to. They suck now. Taste and texture are different.

They switched from Shortening to Olestra cooking oil many years back. Olestra is completely un-natural and none to give people the shits!
