What’s the best way to get 15rd mags?
1 run the vp9 followers in 13rd mags 2 run the 15rd sk mags with the p2k baseplate When I say best way what I mean is most reliable |

Don't know. I just carry a 13 round USP Compact mag as a spare for my P2000sk.

Are you asking about a P2000 or P2000sk?
P30/VP9 15/17rd mags w/ X-grip adapter for P2000, or the old school solution, USPc .40 mags will hold 15rds of 9mm Several mag compatbility threads already over in the Heckler & Koch forum |

I use the 13rd mag body, baseplate, and lock plate with the follower and spring out of the P30/VP9 15-to-17rd upgrade kit, but with the bottom turn of the spring cut off.
Been working well for me. I've read people using the .40 cal mag bodies as well. The idea of the 15-rd SK mags with a baseplate swap sounds interesting. |

Just an update for the OP,
I ordered a 15rd. SK mag and sure enough, exact same mag body as the P2000 mag. Just take off the base plate and the little grip shim, and slide on a P2000 base plate and you have a 15rd mag. |

Use factory HK P30 15 round mags with a spacer?
Or accept the fact that HK specified 13 rounds in that form factor for ultimate reliability and live with it? |
