This is fucking terrible.  Looks like dog shit.  Who would want a lever gun with a box mag?

This and their Phoenix should have been designed to use CZ scorpion mags. But still sort of want.

Y’all complaining need to shut up and be thankful there is still innovation.  Even if you find it stupid, be glad someone is trying to bring new products to market.

The douche at FightLite already did it. Instead of concentrating on making the SCR that many want he makes another product what he will not make in any real numbers.

I do not understand why you would not design this around CZ Scorpion mags.

Even if I was interested - which I'm not - I would be immediately turned off by having to add yet another proprietary mag to the stable. That's dumb as hell.

Why the fuck does a 9mm carbine have a muzzle brake?
There's no recoil in the first place.

That's about all a brake would be good for.
...and $2K for it?

About the only thing going for it is that it's chambered in 9mm....that's about it.

Not for me, but I'm sure someone will buy it.

Seems like a good idea for those no-semi-auto jurisdictions, but I'm not sure they'll sell enough to recoup the investment. Maybe any foreign sales?

I still want an old-school wood and steel .38/.357 levergun.

Like the Mossberg SPX, this is a Shotshow Pony show gun

87 percent will hate it, but will visit the booth to handle it.

Lipsey's will sell out the first run to other dealers that want a stalking horse for more gun counter sales. Every one will hate on it and someone will buy it to annoy people at the range. These people will show the POF website to their friends and POF will sell more guns

Next someone will 3d print a receiver that feeds 45 acp rounds from a drum mag and build a hogleg lever delisle that makes many moar tears and the teeth gnashing will continue.

When I saw the Firearms News cover pic, my first thought was "another survival rifle like the TNW Aero". But $2K? No! Even the TNW rifle seems over-priced at $500ish, considering one can buy an entry level AR for less.

And what is to be gained with a rifle in 9mm?

ETA: Just found TNW's web site. $919! $500ish must have been for the 80% version that is no longer offered.

Many years ago before the bullet button and fin grips, I had one of those pump action AK's. It was actually kind of fun to shoot.

I like it because it is weird and different.  Definitely better with the wood.  I don't even need rails on the fore end.

$2000 you gotta be crazy.

...it's 1mm short.  10mm and I might get beyond HELL NO...to maybe if I needed to spend money and I have everything I've always wanted but have money to spend and it has to be on a gun.

Not a big fan of the looks of this particular one, but I kinda like the concept, if they could make it work with commonly-available magazines.  A detachable magazine seems superior to a tube mag, lever guns are fun, and it might be an interesting choice in states with semi-auto restrictions.

Imo they messed up like they did their last AR 9mm and use proprietary mags.  If they would have went mp5, scorpion or even glock, it would have had a better chance.

That being said, a 9mm lever action....

I’m all for new platforms and advancements to old ones, but…..holy fuck.

Gross.  Just no.

It’s a fucking lever action.  I’m not choosing a lever action if I need high capacity or large volumes of fire.  I’m choosing a lever action for the nostalgia of lever actions.

ETA:  Guess there could be some weird ban state application for it, not really sure.  Not my circus.

I like the concept for suppressed, affordable, quiet shooting. Henry X .38 comes to mind for how something like it could become popular.

Execution is 0/10 on this. They managed to hit all the non-selling points of it being ugly, overly expensive, and having proprietary mags.
