If I take a triangle side folder and spray it with a rubber coating and add a velcro strap to the back, it probably would get an ok from the atf that it's a brace. If you asked 100 random people they all would say that the psa brace is a stock. The atf is fucking retarded and they need to drop sbr's off the nfa.

My only issue is the rear sight.

My wife wants a Krink but doesn't want to pay $2k. She doesn't care about clone correct as long as it looks cool to her, which mostly revolves around the color of the wood. So this will work for her.

Hopefully they come with a side rail optic mount, those RS regulate mounts are super nice.

- overall response is overwhelmingly POSITIVE.

- biggest request is for Krinkov type rear sight/hinged top cover

- distant second is for 5.45 or 556 variants

- price is a concern; if it is double that of the current PSAK, it's probably a no-go. If it's within a few hundred $$ of current PSAKs, it will sell like crazy.

Because I have a SBR receiver that needs a part kit.

If I buy the complete pistol, I have to deconstruct the entire kit and re-rivet. Kit would save me time.

Yeah, because let's make a really short barreled gun and then chamber it in a cartridge that depends on velocity. Makes total sense.

7.62x39 is the only correct choice for short-barrel AKs.
