Those are kind neat. Don’t know how well the color would hold up, but neat nonetheless.

As far as copyright, I don’t know if they got permission to use the images or are just trying to get away with it. I’m sure is PSA did one multiple sites would be abuzz with it and the creators would no doubt notice and may take action against PSA for it. As of now, I can’t imagine those holsters and mags draw that much attention.

You could do a whole series on "Forts" or "National Guard"

Start with one for the Castillo De San Marcos.

This ties in with the Florida National guard

My Dad retired as a Full Colonial.  I would have to get about five of them to honor him!

@PalmettoStateArmory

I know that you have a lot of designs on the table....

Put the idea out there of doing a series of ones for the National Guard.

The Florida National Guard Logo is very cool a rendering of the fort in St. Augustine Fl - where they are headquartered.

My dad spent some 30+ years in the guard - not doing very well right now - battling bladder cancer.  Would love to have three lowers done up with this - One for me and each of my two boys (his two grandsons).

If not - can someone point me in the right direction to get this made.

Thanks,

Red

The Minuteman model for militia mobilization married with a very professional, small standing army was the primary model for the United States' land forces up until 1916 with the establishment of the National Guard.
From the book -A Necessary Evil: A History of American Distrust of Government, Page 34, Wills, Garry (1999).

The minuteman lower is a National Guard tribute, this is why "legacy" is the serial #

I can work on something separate if there is enough request.

Ident Marking & Orion Arms can do engraving and I’m sure there’s many others.

There’s no point in suggesting new designs for lowers at the rate we’re going. PSA has done 6 of the 29 designs approved. You’re looking at a couple years until production.

Hi @BrickWurX

Have you thought about a flaming skull? Sort of Ghost Rider like.

It would could be a companion to the Reaper. I know there was a sugar skull done but hasn't gone anywhere.

There were 9 different versions of the minuteman lower, most with only subtle changes. I fixed it, and deleted all prior renditions from the photo-stream in order to keep from another "BUURRT" happening. Normally I just send the digital art to PSA, not the suggestions we post here with a complete lower for reference. But why chance it.

In regard to the Full Metal Jacket design, we tried that with the Gunny lower. But because Glock owns all Gunny image rights, it was cut.
We could offer tribute to Ermy and the FMJ movie through a design that does not use his images or directly references "Gunny".

The design below is worked from one of the original foreign release movie posters, which was dropped before the movie hit theaters in 87.
It has had likeness copies for things such as stickers and t-shirts for years (oversees mostly).
Nothing directly related to either the film, or Gunny, this design would be GTG.

I had been avoiding this thread because I thought it was just a bitch-fest, and I have always had a good experience with PSA.

Got a hint in another thread that good things were happening here, and so they are.

I am looking forward to getting the MAGA twins, and a Trash Panda, Plus a Templar for a gift, and I probably need a Freedom1 buzzard too.

The Trash Panda needs a full mask around his eyes instead of only the top half. My wife likes the Rocket character, so I will have to color it.

One question on the MAGA-45, what magazines will it use?

OK, I admit that I only read the first ten pages and the last twenty of this thread.

Ironic that the MAGA-45 info was on the same page as the F' cancer stuff. I just buried my Mom two weeks ago, after her being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer only six weeks ago.  Even though she was getting regular chest x-rays to monitor her emphysema, it didn't show up.
The masses weren't dense enough to show up until they did a CT scan.

I don't know anyone that shit hasn't affected someone they love.

I found a dude on eBay that is doing laser engraved magazine catches.

He has a few novelty ones, like "No Step On Snek" - but I was more interested in the caliber ones.

I think it's a pretty clean way to display the caliber - especially if you're like me and you have a few different ones kicking around.

Neat idea.

In regards to the Minuteman receivers do remember that the one time they were used in an overseas war was 3 Regiments of Calvary called up during the Spanish American War of 1898.  Only the 1st Volunteer Calvary under the command of Lt Col Teddy Roosevelt saw action.
