Fair observation. I recant my notion that he's a one trick pony. I used to be in the Armory forum frequently but haven't been anywhere but GD in years. It's good to step away from this shit show that is GD every once in awhile. I agree with you there...I'll be more active in the tech forums at some point as I get back into shooting more hopefully. I hear ya. I've been neglecting slinging lead for awhile due to the busyness of life (mainly kids and old parents). Gotta get back to it eventually which will inevitably lead back to the tech forums. Taking my older daughter shooting would be the perfect segue to getting back into that lifestyle. This is why it's frustrating to be called a commie/liberal/etc. I'm looking at a somewhat similar path. Few more years here and then escaping to small town southern Indiana. Kentucky is also an option. Will be a glorious day to finally leave the land of oppression, tyranny, corruption, and high taxes. I think the reason why y'all get dumped on (the name calling you referenced) as much as you do is the frequent engagement. The message has been received loud and clear. It's the repetitiveness of it that causes people to lash out. I don't know what either side expects to gain by consistently engaging in these threads. Entertainment? Growth? Discord? It seems toxic as hell and a waste of time, hence my sporadic drop-in. I used to think he was batshit crazy ( @WildBoar ), but the thought process to burn it all down sooner than later seems more appealing by the day. However, in good conscience, I can't mentally jump off that cliff just yet. Not with kids, job, responsibilities, bills, etc. looming overhead. Yeah, I know. Typical excuses, for now at least. As you said, I think most of us want the same thing - an unhindered conservative lifestyle and values. With dedication and perseverance, hopefully we get there someday. |

I really don’t know. I pop in here usually in the morning before work while I wait for my coffee to brew. See what was posted while I slept.
Depending on how busy I am at work I may open my phone up for a few minutes before 9am. Maybe post in here or read active topics. Then again at lunch I browse arfcom while I eat my sammich. Then again around dinner I will stop in and see catch up. Then depending on what’s going on I might open arfcom a few times before bed. So maybe 45min total? Not real sure. Never thought about it. We should have a timer. Maybe site staff could ad that feature. But I don’t think I spend much time here except when I type a long post like this. Good question. You? |
