No one liked Kamala. No one. She doesn’t even like herself.

No one ever liked Biden either.

The big lie in 2020 was "Trump is toxic and unelectable and that's why 81,000,000 showed up to vote for Biden."

Kamala is more coherent and campaigning more than Biden in 2020 did. She is a women. She isn't White. If the 2020 lies were true and held up, Kamala would have 90,000,000 votes and would have easily won this election.

Biden “campaigned” as the antithesis of Trump.

Cmon man, malarkey. There was more to my post than just that, which you had already responded to. I’ll incorporate here for reference.

Also FKH spent a good bit of her time having to defend the Biden administration’s terrible record for the last four years. Biden got to spend his entire campaign in 2020 attacking Trump’s without having answer for his own failures.

“Biden “campaigned” as the antithesis of Trump. Experienced and more stabile with better temperament during a time with unprecedented turmoil. I’m not saying any of that is true, but no doubt many ‘normies’ did.

I’d respectfully ask you not to.

Likely the same conversations would continue, but would just spill over into a bunch of other threads and clog them up for people who don’t care to read it.

I can see people labeling a vocal critic an N_T and not believing he is actually a supporter. It makes more sense six months or a year or two ago. Calling someone an N_T, who says they just voted for Trump a 3rd time, is real retarded sir.

While I don't agree with your take on a number of things, it's obvious you are a self loathing Trump supporter who questions things you don't like. And that's meant as a compliment.

I agree that having to defend or deny Biden's regime really put her in a box.

As far as the woman thing... You may be right. I hope you are. But they are the ones who go around endlessly screaming about how diversity is strength, affirmative action, DEI and so forth. Obviously when it was time to put up or shut up on that one, they chose option C Reeeee Trump is Hitler.

The most logical reason the woman thing backfires, is that the vast majority of young women are already voting D. I don't think catty women, especially young women, crossing over for Trump was a big factor like your post suggests. They needed young men, and young men are not interested in Kamala. So far. They're still counting. It's about to tick over to 73 million. The remaining CA votes for Trump should bump it to around 77 million, given he maintains his 40% average there. Trump got 34% of CA's vote in 2020.

That's how unpopular Harris was. She's underperforming Biden by ~6 points IN CALIFORNIA.

I think there's something like 8 million votes outstanding, mostly in West coast blue states.

The real indicator will be in the swing States. How many stayed home vs swing votes.

Those numbers will be real telling about the 2020 fraud... Which many many people feel was already very obvious.

To me, the biggest unanswered question is why did it take so long to count votes in 2020?

Containment threads exist for a reason.

Ol' GK Chesterton says it best: The more modern type of reformer goes gaily up to it and says, “I don’t see the use of this; let us clear it away.” To which the more intelligent type of reformer will do well to answer: “If you don’t see the use of it, I certainly won’t let you clear it away. Go away and think. Then, when you can come back and tell me that you do see the use of it, I may allow you to destroy it.

For what it's worth:

Michigan's count so far is within 30,000 votes of 2020, only including votes counted so far (99%).

That's much less than Biden's margin of victory in 2020, and Trump picked up ~150k more votes than 2020 so far in that state.

Where are you getting your numbers? A quick look at the NYT map shows somewhere around 8-10 million outstanding.

If Harris gets 6 million more votes, she is still only at 74,000,000

If Trump gets 2.5 million more he is only at 75,000,000 which is pretty on the money from his popular performance in 2020.

Still looking forward to seeing the demographics for this year’s election but if I’m drawing more parallels between FHRC/FJB/FKH on the women voter front, FHRC won women 54-41 in ‘16. Biden outperformed her by winning women 57-42 in ‘20.

I don’t really think liberal women crossed over for Trump but that moderate independent women that went for Biden as some sort of safety net in ‘20 went for Trump this election after four years of woke bullshit telling them their daughters must compete against boys in sports and that it’s ok for their sons to cut off their manhood and take puberty blockers.

And I get what you’re saying in regards to fraud in ‘20. But given everything that was going on that year, might there be a legitimate reason for a spike in voter turnout and less votes in the subsequent election?

Of course I don’t downplay the role social media censorship, Hunter’s laptop suppression, constant doom porn from msm, and states’ election officials changing election processes without the legislature played in the election.

The dynamic during Covid in 2020 made it easier to vote, and with everybody stuck at home with nothing else to do, made it more likely that people would.

2024 was a rejection of Kamala Harris and the leftist agenda. Biden voters (or more accurately, anti-Trump voters) in 2020 just didn’t show up for Harris in 2024.  And you should be happy about that. I am.

That's how unpopular Harris was. She's underperforming Biden by ~6 points IN CALIFORNIA.

That's wild. Yes, I suspect a lot of D voters that voted in 2020 in fact DID stay home. Literally NOBODY is better off in 2024 than they were in 2020. Where's their motivation?

My coastal city in CA might have a Republican mayor...the fact that it's even a possibility tells you how unpopular the D ticket is right now.

One of the key narratives is that people showed up with henceforth unforseen turnout to "vote against Trump" due to the 24/7 MSM "Trump is Hitler narrative." The takeaway from the media was that worked. And they have run "Trump is hitler threat to democracy" propaganda nonstop for 4 more years.

So where the fuck did those voters go? They suddenly wised up? They got less interested in the same exact dynamic? I don't think so.

California is not a good national indicator of voter sentiment. Kamala is from California. There are a lot of long standing reasons why Californians hate her vs anyone else. They know the story about how she slept her way to the top better than anyone. They know what she did as AG. And she probably got a lot of R's who normally don't vote to turnout just to vote against her, knowing it is otherwise a meaningless vote.

I know you want to lump everybody into this non-thinking mass of bots.

But, yeah. That’s my guess.  In 2020, they didn’t like the response to Covid, and were influenced by the 4 year media campaign against him. But then 4 years later, they didn’t agree with the open southern border, weren’t happy with their grocery bill, recognized the bullshit that was the leftist agenda, were completely turned off by Harris, and just stayed home.

And at the end of the day, when all the votes are counted, we’ll probably be talking about around 5 million voters. Which seems like a huge number, but it’s a delta from 2020 of only like 6%.

That’s the same thing as certain Democrats calling Republicans Nazis then getting mad when Republicans vote for their own party’s candidates.

I didn't say it was a national indicator. I pointed out why many Ds would choose to not vote, and pointed out an interesting local race.

macros has made a few comments suggesting how it is indicative of overall voter sentiment. I was just pointing out why it probably isn't.

It’s hard to say. But it’s possible to be that simple.

I think it’s combination of many things. Mail in voting was simple. Lots of people who would not normally drive their fat lazy ass to vote. We’re able to complete a form and send it off.

I also think a lot of independents and others voted for Biden because of Covid. They blame Trump for not standing up and telling it like it is. He went right along with it and even pushed a vaccine that killed people too.

2020 was a mess. I think any president, not just Trump but any president who failed to speak truth during that was doomed.

Everyone knew Covid was dangerous for certain people with risk factors. But shutting down the country was a hinge problem. Some people lost everything because of that shit and I would not blame them at all for voting against him.

I also believe there was significant fraud. Mail in voting was just to easy. There was no way to verify it and they didn’t want too in the states where it mattered.

I have no strong opinion on that either way, but you would normally expect someone to do well in their own state. Also interesting that Walz home state went to Trump.

I think the main point here is that they were both INCREDIBLY unlikable, and that in large part accounts for the lesser voter turnout. 2020 Biden- idiot? Yes. But an unoffensive idiot to the average person who had been watching the media vilify trump for 4 years.

Trump is supposedly getting Thomas Massie involved with the Secretary of Agriculture, as well as Joel Salatin.  Massie might be the Sec of Ag.

This is the kind of shit I would have been doing in 2016 if I were Trump.  Unconfirmed report at the moment.  But THIS kind of shit makes me actually excited if it's true.
