My brindle colored Pitbull/Lab mix named Reggie, all cozy on his dog bed in front of the fireplace. He is 2½ and 75 lbs. We rescued him back in June 2021 from the local SPCA here in town when he was 1 yr old pup. Everyone loves him and his coloring. But then most people are wary because of the pitbull face & head. He is extremely intelligent and a "gentle giant" with my grandkids (4 yrs old down to a 1 year old toddler).

Here's Odie. He's a Boston Terrier and he'll be celebrating his second birthday in July. Attached File This is Toby. He was a mix between a Bichon Frise and a Poodle. He crossed the rainbow bridge on October 2nd, 2020. Attached File Both fantastic dogs. Odie is very level-headed, insanely intelligent and equally affectionate, as well as very playful. A goofy little guy at times, standard for Boston Terriers. Toby was very protective. |

I just got this sweet girl a couple of days ago. She's a mix of Cane Corso and Blue Gotti (basically italian mastiff and pitbull), about 1.5 years old and about 70 pounds. She's as sweet as she is stubborn, I really like her. I'm still trying to come up with a good name for her, any ideas?  " />

My Ike passed his canine good citizen exam yesterday He was pulling a little on the loose leash part of the test but he did well with everything else He’s 2-1/2 years old now. Got him last March. So glad I found him Prior owner was an old guy who supposedly had a double knee replacement. Ike is very high energy so I can see that Attached File I think they passed all the dogs - at least the ones I watched. We left before the last couple were done though to get his pup cup, but by the time we got to DQ they were already closed. |

Picked up this little guy from the pound today. Named him Hank, probably should have been lame and named him Shadow, since he follows me around everywhere. They said he is a black lab, sitting around four months. To me he looks like a black GSD. He definitely hates the cage. He cried and screamed the entire time I took my other pups for a walk. They're getting used to him. It was rough with my other oldest male. Hank growled and snapped at him. My oldest female I believe is jealous of him and my youngest has started to try and play with him. Hopefully all goes well. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

After nearly month being home, I'd say he has made his place. The old man tolerates him. Attached File He has been a dream having here. His only issue is he has really bad separation anxiety. He will go in his cage enthusiastically whenever I leave however, once he is done with his treat he will cry and cry. Hopefully he'll grow out of it. Potty training has been going good and he is getting better by the day on his leash. Him and his rescue sister are constantly playing and keeping him occupied. I was hesitant getting pup number four but I think I lucked out with Hank. Attached File Attached File |

The oldest got a dog for when she moved out this month. A pure bred black GSD. She was such a sweetheart that the woman and I fell in love with her. (This is more recent.) Attached File We already have a dog, a GSD/Corgi mix. He’s 6 or 7, we don’t know as he was a rescue, but he’s one of, if not the most well behaved dog I’ve ever known. Attached File With his age, how great the daughter’s puppy was, and there was one puppy left, we decided to get the last one. This is the first day we got him at exactly 8 weeks old and one day. Attached File The daughter’s dog is named Coco. She made a joke that since they acted like crackheads together, we should name him Kane. (Cocaine.) It stuck. Kane hasn’t had an accident in bed since the first week. He’s probably the most affectionate dog I’ve ever had. But he grows like a mutant. This is Kane now. In 3.5 weeks he’s almost doubled in weight. Attached File Does he look like he’s built like a tank? Yes, as he is. The vet says while his weight is the high side of average, he might have the biggest paws she’s ever seen at 12 weeks. This was at 11 weeks and I wear a size large glove. Attached File If you can’t tell by my dumb enthusiasm, he is already an awesome dog and incredibly well behaved for his age. But as it turns out, the daughter was denied her lease because they consider GSD’s to be a high risk breed. Instead of give up the dog, the daughter is going to live with us another couple years. So we will have all 3 dogs and a very full household, but despite the occasional chaos, I’m happy with it. |
