Pulled into the truck stop Circle K last night to park for a few minutes and walk to the Chick-Fil-A next door for a sandwich. Spotted this beauty. You don’t see too many 359s anymore, especially not as clean as this one. Attached File Attached File I had pulled in there thinking my truck was looking sharp. I should’ve parked across the street.  Wonder what she’s got under there? Big cam Cummins? CAT 3406? Maybe even a 3408? Definitely not a Detroit, since that vintage would’ve had a 2 stroke Detroit. The idle would’ve given that away. |

Here’s the other one. Neither one is used for work anymore. But they both used to. This one has the big cam Cummins (with Jakes retrofitted) and a 13 speed. They still enter it in a truck show each year. Usually takes the ride on the back of the lowboy though. Attached File Attached File |
