Its funny how you guys make fun of other countries protesting against Tyranny.
The fact is, too many Americans DONT have the BALLS to protest for real. Picket signs do not help. Thats why were are being taken over by bankers, politicians, and other criminal government elements. When the time comes, you will all hide in your homes poking fun at those who stand up against those doing wrong. Then get on your computer and make fun of those who were injured during their attempt to free themselves and their people. Once the shit comes flying, Ill be laughing at all of you for being scared little ponies. |

Although it is certainly possible that the protester is fighting for his right to love Budweiser, apple pie, guns and Jesus, I think it's fairly unlikely. The conflict going on in Bahrain is the same Sunni/Shia bullshit that these folks have been killing each other over for six centuries. You might think that fellow has the spirit of an American patriot, but it's just as likely that he'd saw your head off with a knife if he thought it could advance his politico-religious agenda. Fights for democracy don't always result in pro-Western or even pro-democracy governments. See Egypt. These groups in Syria are fighting a dictator as well. Be careful who you root for. |
