 Went shooting last weekend. Barrel was the target, launched from 140 yards away from an elevated position. First time shooting at that range. Got within three yards of the barrel, well within the lethal radius. |

Our weekend at the pre-1840 reenactment.
1760 French voyager/fur trader and wife doing fiber arts. Thursday and Friday were school days. Saturday and Sunday were open to the public. Granddaughter took first place in the bow shoot on Saturday and second on Sunday. I was range officer and didn't shoot this year. I won 6 of our last 8 shoots. Granddaughter was in all 10. 1 first. 5 second and 4 third places. We had up to 20 contestants in the shoots so I am pretty proud of her. Targets were from 7 to 20 yards.
