I have a Ford branded 3100 PSI pressure washer. It was working fine yesterday, but today, it's not building pressure. Nothing is leaking. When I pull the trigger with the engine off, water comes out as normal and there's no air in the system. With the engine running and I pull the trigger, the hose will jump/twitch like there's pressure, but there's less volume and pressure than when the engine is off. I've check the screens and they're clean. On the pump, I've pulled the 6mm caps off the valves. Water flows through them when turned on. Attached File Any ideas of what could be going on? |

You have attached a nozzle? I had a friend with the same issue, turns out he wasn't putting the nozzle on and without the nozzle on it doesn't look like there is much pressure. Next guess is a stuck unloader valve. |
