You are an inspiration and your post brought me to tears.

I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer 10 years ago on April 15th. It was his final tax protest, I'm convinced of it.

Go with God, brother.

fuck the screen is blurry now.

Sorry to hear that. I'm guessing you have stage 4 because it was found late? Can you tell me how symptoms presented and how it was found?

I'm asking because my wife found out she has a huge mass on her pancreas last week. We had an appt with a pancreatic cancer surgeon and she doesn't think it's cancerous. We have a biopsy next week to find out for sure. The wife is 37.

Hopefully you are saved OP.  Know Jesus Know Peace!

15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Hopefully I’ll see you on the flip side

Man, I am in tears here, what a story, I sure hope some national news organization picks this up.
I have had more than one family member go through pancreatic cancer and I just admire your courage.
I'm praying for you, stay strong.

This just needs to go past this site, this is an incredible story that everyone needs to hear, this sums up how so many of us were feeling about voting in this election.
It would have been so easy for him to say fuck it, I'm not voting because I am so sick.
He picked himself up and got to the polling place and voted.

My wife is in sorry shape but she insisted on voting.  We got to the polling place and almost nobody was there.  it was so empty I though we were in the wrong place.  So at least our last vote together went smoothly.

Ask if you can get anti-nausea drugs in your premeds, that really helped.

You have more fight than most, I've seen what you're going through.  Not sure how you feel about it but Cannabis helps a lot more than most of the drugs they give you.

To @t75fn sorry to hear about your wife. That’s to young!!!! Typically attacks older men so that’s good. Glad to hear the docs think it benign. Get on the operation angle Riki tik!!! If it’s the Whiple it will sound horrific but it works. Involves an 8 hour operation and 5 day recoup but she is young. Good luck to you and the misses. I was taken off the list so it is what it is.

@ Grog , can’t use gummies , full of sugar. However the buds of Indica? Are the only thing that gets me to eat anything!!! And my wife is the best cook I’ve ever known. Thank God she doesn’t like to bake cakes and such LOL!! Lost 100 pounds this year not in a good way!!! Haven’t done any drugs or alcohol since   1980 due to where I worked but the new weed is incredible. Good thing I didn’t have this stuff when I was younger HAHA  Thanks Pete

Thanks. The surgeon said the head of her pancreas looks clear, so it would be a distal pancreatectomy, taking all but the head which is much less severe, but still major surgery. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed for the biopsy results for now.

@ Taom, this was just meant as a sort of cautionary tale for members here. My wife and I are intensely private people. If anybody off this site wanted to talk to me I would politely say no. And I would be polite . To quote Dr Hannibal Lecter “ I find discourtesy unspeakably ugly, I would not have that happen to you” speaking to Clarice about multiple Miggs.

I'm in the same boat, different cancer but similar results.
I have stage 4 stomach cancer with a big tumor.
I felt so bad I was going to stop everything and let it play out.
Doc. Cut back chemo and I'm feeling much better.
They give me steroids for 3 days so I feel good and I feel pretty good the last 3 days.
I can even drink cold fluids lol.
What gets me is the fatigue it's horrible and neuropathy in my hands is frustrating.
But it's all worth it I got to see my great granddaughter.
Keep the fight and tell doc and nurses what's happening so they can adjust.
